pub upload fail, transient error

I'm getting the following error when trying to upload my package, I've been trying this for a good ten minutes now:

Uploading...

HTTP error 500: Internal Server Error at https://pub.dartlang.org/api/packages/versions/131b51b3-dc72-410d-ac5e-01b3f6cd2f65/create.

This is likely a transient error. Please try again later.

any hints or work arounds?
