BARS TEAM:
You all might have heard that the HVAC tucked away in the ceiling of my garage went to Freon Heaven last week. The experience included having to liberate the garage from a collection of "Life-Treasure-Projects" to the driveway ramp, for crew access. At 79, I will most likely NEVER get around to repurpose or restore some of my "Someday-Stuff." Time to face reality!!! So...
FREE to anyone wanting a working 1/4 KW CCS VHF amplifier - come pick it up ASAP.

The rack has a continuous duty 1500 VDC supply, powering an RF Deck -- pair of 8560 convection-cooled ceramic tubes. It tunes down to 147 MHZ with 15W drive To go lower it will need a little reworking of the Input/Output tuning lines. In Amateur service class AB1/2 or C, this setup easily can push a KW input, if you increase the plate voltage to 2200 VDC -- makes a great 2M linear amplifier!!!
Call me before I revert back to "...someday..." thinking.
