What Did You Miss?
The Sabbath is Spirit in the form of time. Sabbath rest is allowing Spirit to rest within us and connect with God. What happens when you lean into something that is always there? What do you notice when something that's always been there goes missing? What can you learn about yourself and your world during this season of fasting and reflection?
The registration link below will allow you to register for the service with your preferred email address. A service link will then be sent to that email. This service link will be active 5 minutes prior to the service. As an added benefit, you’ll be sent a recording of the service after it is done streaming!

Join this month’s Grateful Living Circle. This drop in group will offer the warm bond of small groups we are all familiar with, while bringing fresh new material from Grateful Living. Together, we will be in awe of the beauty around us, hold one another gently in the tender moments, and be open to all the wondrous things waiting just around the corner as we explore what it means to live a life of gratitude.
This gathering is open to anyone who would like to participate.
We hope to see you there!

To start your day, a meeting, or before a meal
From the Hidden Words of Baha’u’allah
O Child of Spirit,
My first counsel to you is this:
Keep your heart pure, kind, and radiant,
so that your inner life may be lasting and undying.
May whatever is harsh within us soften.
May whatever is restless become still.
O Child of Being,
Your heart is My home;
make it holy, that I may dwell there.
In this season of fasting, we clear the inner space.
We loosen the grip of pride and self-concern.
O Child of Humanity,
If you love Me, turn away from self-centeredness.
If you seek My pleasure, do not put your own first.
May this Fast make our hearts bright,
our spirits light,
and our lives turned toward what is eternal.

Join Buen Vecino and Cal Lutheran for an evening of learning how to bridge differences and move from conflict to conversation.
You’re invited to the Courageous Conversations Summit on March 23 for an evening of learning and skill-building with Jennifer Linde and Loretta Ross at California Lutheran University.
Wondering how to navigate tough conversations in your relationships, classroom or community? Join one or both sessions to gain insights and tools for engaging dialogue across differences.
Linde will lead a Civil Dialogue® workshop at 6 p.m., in which volunteers will model civil, productive conversation, which then will be extended to the entire audience.
Refreshments will be served during the break between sessions.
Ross will deliver a keynote address at 7:15 p.m. on her Calling In framework, created to help people stay in community in ways rooted in love, compassion, and joy, followed by a moderated conversation and audience Q&A.
Agenda:
6 - 6:45 Civil Dialogue with Jennifer Linde

We are continuing to collect the WI and VA cards and will meet in Room 1 after the service this Sunday, March 22nd. This Sunday is also the final due date for WI, so please return those cards if you have any. VA is also due soon.
We have now distributed Environmental Voter’s Project (EVP) postcards. The packets all have a slip of paper in them with the message to write. A lot less writing on these. The due date to return them is April 15. They are available to pick up at Chalice on Sunday. We only have 140 remaining,
Thanks for your continued support of UUTHEVOTE.

Strength for the Journey:
Supporting Each Other in Changing Times.
What challenges do you face? Do you struggle with uncertainty? How are you doing during these tumultuous times? What positive future for yourself do you hold onto? It takes courage to live fully these days. We will explore the importance of strength and courage in our lives. Together and individually, we will uncover and expand our resources of personal strength and courage. Together we are stronger, in fellowship.
At the renewal, you will have a great opportunity to step away from the busyness of your daily life. You can explore where you have been, where you are now and where you’re headed. There will be time to connect with other men in an atmosphere of mutual support, encouragement and brotherhood. Come discover fresh perspectives, deeper connections, and renewed strength.
Part of our work during the Renewal is done in small Kinship Groups, facilitated by experienced members of the fellowship. You will experience the great gifts of both listening and being heard. Building on trust and confidentiality, men in each Kinship Group learn to support one another.
In the beauty of the mountains and the safety and fellowship of brotherhood, we will hang out, drum, sing, chant, laugh, and tell our stories. The mountain air is fresh and the food is great. Seize the moment. Be there!
Men attending these Renewals find the experience to be important to their lives and come back year after year, living as fathers, sons, brothers, partners, husbands, and members of society.
