Our Annual Congregational Meeting will be held June 9th after service from 11:30 in the Sanctuary (and on Zoom if you cannot be present onsite). We invite everyone to stay and participate. We'll review and vote on the budget, as well as take a straw poll, which will impact how our delegates vote on Article II during General Assembly. Your voice will always matter to us, and we encourage all members to come practice the "The Right of Conscience and the Use of the Democratic Process Within Our Congregations and in Society at Large”

Hope you all enjoyed the Memorial Day long weekend in your own awesome style!
We have distributed all the postcards for the current campaign. You can return completed cards this Sunday, June 2, for stamping. Reminder-these need to be mailed the latest July 1. We will be stamping this weekend and next.
Our next postcard campaign is with Environmental Voters Project. We expect to have them in mid-June. These are to encourage Florida residents who have an interest in climate issues to Vote. Jill will email you all when they arrive. They are due back by August 4 but, as always, should be returned as completed.
Meantime, here's an opportunity to TEXT voters in Florida this Wednesday! Fun, easy and moves us toward achieving the Good Trouble designation. Sign up here: https://mobilize.us/s/ND1KQr
And --GREAT NEWS! We have received our second UU the Vote matching grant from Spirit Level Foundation. To receive the full amount ($7,500) we will need to raise $2,500 in donations. We will be having a special collection in August, but if you want to support our efforts (and achieve the 3-1 grant), you can always donate earlier with UU the Vote in the subject line. (Note-we have pre-purchased stamps to carry us through the elections.)
In solidarity and friendship,
Jill and Pamela
