Whatever water you are grateful for. We will be combining our waters during the service. If you’re participating via zoom, please have a glass of water with you during worship.

Kinship With Our Earth: An Intergenerational Service
“No one will protect what they don't care about, and no one will care about what they have never experienced” - David Attenborough. We know of the many ways to care for the earth, but what is that inspires us to do so? In this Intergenerational service, we will explore the many beautiful facets of this planet through song, stories, …and bubbles. Bring your wonder and affection for our blue boat home as we reconnect with our dear Mother Earth and celebrate Earth Day.

Chalice Lighting
To start your day, a meeting, or before a meal
We light this chalice for the web of life which sustains us,
For the sacred circle of life in which we have our being,
For the Earth, the Sky, Above and Below, and
For our Mother Earth, and for the Mystery.

“It’s About Time” Annual Cabaret
CALL for ACTS/ PERFORMERS
Let Anthony know by April 28th!
It’s that time; Chalice’s annual Cabaret is June 15th at 7pm - our last one in the Sanctuary - and we want you to participate! We welcome all types of talents. Musicians, magicians, storytellers, dancers and more are all encouraged to perform! This year’s theme is “time.”
As we prepare for our upcoming move into our new home, let’s reflect on time and its impact on our lives. We’re putting out a special call for dancers and/or choreographers to help with Rocky Horror Picture Show’s “Time Warp!” If you’re interested in being a part of our cabaret, please email music director, Anthony, by April 28th. Rehearsals will be held Wednesday and/or Thursday evenings beginning May 1st.

Dear UUtheVote Team,
Thank you for returning the completed postcards! Your energy fuels us all.
We now have Virginia Phase II postcards. They have an April 23-June 3 deadline for mailing, which means we have time to work on them.
We have bunches of 20 same as before. I'll be at Chalice Sunday for our UUtheVote meet after service. We have completed cards for stamping.
And I will also have new bundles for Virginia. Please send me your orders so I can prepare them for you.
You can pick up Sunday, or as always, another time that's convenient at Jill or Pamela's.
Thank you for joining our efforts. We are one strong and determined team!
Love,
Jill and Pamela
