The flag is Green.
There are no restrictions on which crews may boat.
Outlook: The forecast for Wednesday morning is VERY COLD and windy. The view of the Committee is that the current forecast does not yet meet the criteria for a yellow flag; however, we will be monitoring the situation closely, and the flag may change before novice boating time. Please check before boating.
A green flag is not an instruction to boat. Captains and coaches must consider very carefully whether an outing is advisable. Coxes should also be confident in their ability to cope with the wind.
If outings do go ahead, please make sure all rowers and coxes are dressed warmly (including hats) and consider taking space blankets with the bank party. Bank parties should take care on the towpath.
