Dear all,

The results of Friday's racing have been updated and can be found here. The notes and fines for Friday can be found below, and here.

Notes from the Umpires
  • All crews must resume normal navigation once they have finished racing, whether that be after bumping out or rowing over. Crews rowing down to the start must likewise observe normal navigation.
  • The towpath is going to be extremely busy today. Bank parties must take care on the public path, and allow extra time to get to the start. Clubs should instruct members to be careful also.
  • A reminder that no running bank party are allowed, and bank parties are strictly limited to four cyclists.
  • A reminder that bins are available on Grassy corner for all litter. They are approximately 10 meters down the path at the apex of Grassy.
  • Today is going to be hot. A reminder again that crews must bring extra water, and seek shade whenever possible.
  • A reminder that portaloos are available at Control, and it is neither acceptable nor legal for crews/bank parties to urinate in view of the public.
  • Programmes are still available for purchase at Control for £5, cash or card.
  • Swapping of cox and rower for the row home must only occur where the cox is a competent rower and the rower is a competent cox. The Chief Umpires will fine crews heavily if this is not the case and the crew causes any delays to subsequent divisions or fails to follow correct navigation. If above the Railway Bridge, the cox must be aware of the navigation procedure on the row home from Bumps (i.e. the need to stop at the Railway Bridge to wait for the next division to push off).
  • Please remember everything is two hours earlier today!
