Morning everyone,

Please find below the corrected notes and fines for Yesterday.

During a men’s division yesterday, a significant number of crews rowed through the railway bridge without stopping to allow the marshalled crews to row up. A typographical error meant this got recorded against the wrong division – including crews which had rowed over, which has been amended and, on this occasion, removed due to the mistake. However, this will not be tolerated going forward.  Please accept my sincere apologies for the confusion.

The forecast today is wet. Please remember to bring your waterproofs and listen for umpires’ instructions regarding divisions.

Notes from the Umpires:

  • It is not acceptable to pressure any CUCBC official/umpire to award a bump
  • Crews heading home (unless otherwise instructed) MUST stop at the railway Bridge to allow the next division to marshal
  • Crews getting back into boats to marshal down need to be ready to push off immediately, and should number off once in the boat, not when instructed to push off
