Thanks for a really enjoyable first day of Lent Bumps! Here are the Notes and Fines for Tuesday.

 

Notes from the Umpires​

• Rain is forecast for tomorrow, so bring waterproofs and mudguards! Be aware the towpath is likely to be muddy and slippery
• You must hold it hard to stop your boat when you have bumped, not just take the run.
• It is the responsibility of marshalling crews to be ready to push off when instructed to do so by a marshal. In practice, this means getting into your boats once you see racing crews approaching if not already instructed by the marshals to get back into boats
• Foul and abusive language from crews or bank parties will not be tolerated. Repeat offences will result in individuals or crews being asked not to return.
• Crews must ensure when conceding, they acknowledge clearly and promptly
• Remember, Bumps Programmes are on sale from Control for £5, and we accept cash or card.

• Caius M2 - Late concession - £20
• Caius W2 - Dropped bung, no advantage - £15

• CUCBC Committee - Improper use of a lid as a cup - Bring decent cup tomorrow or take penalty sippy cup
• Darwin M1 - Foul and abusive language from bank party - £25
• Darwin M1 - Slow to hold it up upon bumping - £30
• Emmanuel M2 - Dropped bung, no advantage - £15
• First and Third M3 - Incompetent clearing - £50
• Fitzwilliam W2 - Unclear concession - Warning
• Girton M1 - Excessive Bank Party - £30
• Homerton W2 - Dropped bung, no advantage - £15
