Sparks Rowing is a junior rowing camp company that hosts an annual camp that trains out of Thames Rowing Club at Putney for two weeks prior to the Henley Town and Visitors’ Regatta (July 22-August 3). The camp is mostly composed of American juniors and focused on sweep racing skills. Cambridge University Boat Club coaches Nick Acock and Bill Lucas will coach the camp. 

The camp seeks a few sturdy athletes to row with the juniors during training and potentially racing. A travel stipend of £40/day is offered plus lunch for those who row (2 sessions/day) with the group. Coaching during training will be provided, but racing is not guaranteed.
