The flag is Green.

There are no restrictions on which crews may boat.

Outlook: Wind calming down overnight hence a provisional green for the morning.
However, it picks up again through the day and may well turn yellow again for the afternoon.
Keep an eye on the flag, and make sure you're assessing the conditions yourselves before deciding it's safe for you to boat.

There are no restrictions on which crews may boat.

Outlook: Wind and gusts are still strong, but crews with experienced coxes who are confident that their crew can handle the conditions should be able to cope. Please assess the conditions yourself to confirm this before boating!

The flag is Green.

There are no restrictions on which crews may boat.

Outlook: Winds forecast to calm overnight, hence a provisional green flag for the morning.

All crews retain the responsibility to determine their own safety boating based on their own assessment of conditions and their individual crew circumstances.

There are no restrictions on which crews may boat.

Outlook: River level/stream has reduced dramatically, but winds are still substantial. Still think carefully re whether your crew is safe handling the conditions, and still give plenty of space between boats in the adverse conditions.

There are no restrictions on which crews may boat.

Outlook: Conditions are much improved. However, every crew should assess the conditions themselves before boating and consider if and outing will be productive. If boating this morning, please be considerate and mindful of everyone on the river this morning as it will likely be busy.

The flag is Green.

There are no restrictions on which crews may boat.

Outlook: Stream and river level have died down from the morning, but crews must also consider for themselves ability and suitability for boat.
Do not spin too close to baits bite lock.
**A green flag is not licence to boat**

Should any boats be rowing around the time of lighting up, a reminder that lights are required 15 minutes before this time.

The flag is Green.

There are no restrictions on which crews may boat.

Outlook: Borderline green, given less usage of the river during weekday daytime. The stream and river level component has died down from the weekend but there is considerable wind.

Crews must keep in control of vessels, especially when doing bung start practices. Crews and coxes must consider their ability in wind, and discuss with boatmen/coaches/experienced members if in doubt. A green flag is not licence to boat.

Should the wind strengthen further (as currently forecast) or a lot more river users utilise the river, the flag will yellow very quickly. This will be dynamically monitored during the day.

Outlook: Message from Bumps control:

We are intending to race all crews and all divisions today.
There is a combination of the stream and wind on the batisbite lock stretch of river which may blow crews whilst spinning.

For those on stations 16, 17 and 18 please spin early to ensure you are not blown towards the weir. There will be a deputy chief umpire around these stations to assist crews spinning.
