Notes from the Umpires

• There were several incidents of extremely foul language today including complaints from the public. This is not acceptable under any circumstances. The Chief umpires have sent a separate note about this. Fines tomorrow will start at £75.

• Lents has arrived in earnest, and as such the towpath has become extremely muddy - bring appropriate equipment and allow time to navigate the towpath, especially as it will likely be busier tomorrow. 

• Bank Parties - be aware of umpires around you, and give way to them if they are trying to move forward or backwards - it is essential that umpires have a clear view of racing crews, and failure to follow their instructions will result in fines.
