to CUCBC Captains
Dear Captains,

I hope those of you who have been racing in Uni IVs have been enjoying it so far, and well done to those of you who have made it to the final day. I just have a few admin points ahead of racing today:

First, Caius M1 and LMBC M3 have signalled that they will be scratching so (unless I hear from them very soon to say otherwise) Clare M1 and Queens M2 will have byes to finals. Those crews need to marshal by 15 15 at the railway bridge.

Could the 4 crews needing to marshal at that time please try and be prompt (or early) so we can be quick getting underway with the last division.

Crews that have won semi-finals should spin in a sensible place (ideally the P&E, although St Edmunds or FaT women who will be the last race in the first division can spin on the reach after their finishes) - if there is any doubt about a semi result/dead heat we will communicate that as soon as practicable to the crews involved.

I will hopefully be around with medals outside LMBC boathouse for around half an hour from when I get there after racing (which, if everything runs smoothly, will likely be around 4 30-5) - if crews and/or a representative from crews want to collect medals. I'll try and send an email to winning captains when I get there.

Thank you to all clubs who have provided umpires for the racing, which has gone smoothly so far thanks to their help- if anyone who is meant to is going to struggle to source one today please let me know ASAP.

Finally - the substitution rules will likely be up for discussion in the Lents captains meeting, but if anyone has any ideas on that or other specific feedback on how the races,  please let me know and we can be sure to incorporate changes going forwards

Thanks,
Tony
