Dear Captains,
The race timetable has now been published for Uni IVs, and competitor information and the umpires rota is attached. Racing will take place in two divisions, marshalling at 14:45 and 15:15 at Baitsbite and the Railway bridge respectively.
Please note especially that racing will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with M2 racing on Wednesday & Friday only, and W2 on Friday only.I have scheduled the umpires rota such that clubs racing in those divisions have umpiring slots on the Tuesday.
All clubs must provide an umpire for their slots - even if they have been knocked out previously, with disqualification and other sanctions possible for failure to provide an umpire. Please inform me as soon as possible if you need to change an umpiring slot for any reason - pre-arranged swaps with other colleges are fine but should also be confirmed to me by email in advance. 6 Colleges (randomly selected) have 1 fewer umpiring slot than they have boats - if you are one of those, please be aware that you will be first on my list of clubs to approach if we lose umpires for any reason!
