Krispy Kreme Fundraiser
Our Krispy Kreme Fundraiser is underway, and all proceeds go directly into the Scouts’ individual accounts. These funds can be used for registration fees or other Scout-related expenses throughout the year, such as camping trips. Some members last year covered their registration fees through fundraising. More details and sales flyers can be found a our Pack Fundraising Page
For every $12 Krispy Kreme dozen slip sold, $6 is credited to the scout’s account.
This Fundraiser ends September 16, 2025
Pack Guidebook:
On August 3, 2025, the Committee officially approved a Pack Guidebook
You can view it here: Cub_Scout_Pack_126_Guidebook_2025
We’ll go over the Guidebook in more detail at our Parents Meeting on September 19, 2025. Afterward, each family will be asked to sign the last page to confirm you’ve reviewed it.
In the meantime, if you have questions, please reach out to J Croom or Chris Yevitz, we’re happy to help.
Pack and Parents Meeting - September 19, 2025
Our first Pack Meeting and Parents Meeting will be held on September 19, 2025, at 6:30 PM at Camp Jubilee in Covington Township. Activities and a campfire are planned for the Cub Scouts. This will be a fun and informative evening for all families, so please plan to attend. More details will follow in future updates.
Uniforming Plan:
For September and October, Scouts will wear the Class B (Activity) uniform, which is a Scouting t-shirt of your choice. New members can wear any Scout-appropriate t-shirt, and they will receive their official pack t-shirts later this fall after registration closes. This applies to both den and pack meetings during these months. Starting in November we will move to the official Class A (Field) uniform.
Pack Store:
Each NEW Scout will receive a Pack 126 Tie-Dyed T-shirt and, if desired, a Pack 126 hat.
Each Returning Scout will receive a $15 credit, once dues paid, to the Shirt Lady to credit towards an item of your choice.
If you would like to buy yourself or your Scout additional Apparel you can do so at: Cub Pack 126 Store
For the scouts, these items can be worn to any Class B uniform night as well as at camp. Parents these are great for you to wear while at pack events including community service projects and camp.
Important: Embroidered items are only available for sale between now and September 29, 2025. Screen printed items can be made all year long.
Class A Uniform Swap
If anyone has an old Cub Scout Uniform that they are not using that they can donate to another Scout, please contact Assistant Cubmaster Matt Flannigan at mflan...@cubpack126.org or see Matt at a meeting.
Let’s work together as a community to support one another. If your Scout has outgrown or no longer uses their uniform, consider passing it along to someone who needs it.
If anyone is in need of a lightly used uniform please also email or talk to Matt. We do have a few uniforms available. Although we can’t get Uniforms for everyone, we will do our best to get every Scout in need into a Class A shirt.
Class A Uniform Sale
Scouting America is offering 10% off uniform bottoms when purchasing a matching uniform top. If you plan to buy a Class A uniform, take advantage of this discount at the council service center store.
More information on Cub Scout uniforms can be found at: Pack 126 Uniforming
Medical Forms:
All Scouts must have a Class A/B medical form on file with the pack. Additionally, all Scouts should obtain a Class C form signed at their next physical. The forms can be found at the link below, and it is recommended to download and fill them out digitally. This will save time next year, as you will only need to update and get the signature instead of filling out the entire form again.
Forms are only good for 1 year.
All new scouts need to submit forms. For returning scouts, we will share the expiration of your current form. It is your responsibility to keep your forms up-to-date with the pack.
