We recognize that the weather may not be ideal for tomorrow’s Rank Up and Crossover Event. Based on the current forecast, we are planning to move forward as scheduled. Members of our committee and other volunteers have been busy preparing food and setting up the church, and we are coordinating with five troops that will be welcoming Scouts from our unit. It is very difficult to find an alternate date that works for everyone, and postponing the event would also create financial challenges.
After discussions with key stakeholders, including the AOL den, we have decided to move the event up by one hour. The ceremony will now begin at 1:00 PM in an effort to avoid the heavier snowfall expected later in the evening.
Please plan to arrive at the church at 12:45 PM for a 1:00 PM start.
As always, attendance is a family decision. Scouts who are unable to attend will receive their adventure belt loops and other achievements at a later time.

Join us for one of the most important day in our Scouting year! On February 22, 2025, we will celebrate our Scouts’ achievements at our Annual Crossover & Rank Up Ceremony at the Maple Lake United Methodist Church.
This special event honors the hard work of all our Scouts as they receive their rank badges for the year. Additionally, our Arrow of Light (AOL) Scouts will cross over, marking their transition to Troop 132, Troop 1132, Troop 133, or Troop 1016. This is a significant milestone in their Scouting journey, and we encourage all families to attend and support them.
