Yale Library's Computational Methods and Data team, which includes our DHLab and StatLab and provides digital and data-driven support to student, faculty, and staff researchers from all disciplines, are seeking two new members of our team.
One, the Research Technologist (
https://careers.yale.edu/us/en/job/136001WD/Research-Technologist), will support researcher-facing library staff and researchers via consultations, workshops, and related activities in emerging and trending research technologies. We're looking for someone with a research support background and experience with HPC, research code development, or other computational science, social science, or humanities research.
The other, the Computational Social Scientist (
https://careers.yale.edu/us/en/job/136003WD/Computational-Social-Scientist), will support social science faculty, students, and staff through consultations, workshops, and other research support in computational social science techniques. Ideal candidates will have a PhD or equivalent research or research support experience in the social sciences.
