Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) is seeking a collaborative and experienced Head of Metadata. This position manages all aspects of cataloging operations as well as acquisitions workflows within the LMS.  This includes supervising cataloging Library Specialists and liaising with NOVA Libraries staff to ensure excellent cataloging services are provided. The Head of Cataloging contributes to efficient collection management of library resources including creating analytics reports, batch loading of new electronic books, metadata enhancements, authority control, and inventory control.

Hiring range is $ 80,586–$87,000. Starting salary is commensurate as based on experience, education, and other appropriately qualifying factors within the specified hiring range.
