Position: Business Research and Instruction Librarian
Location: University of Washington, Bothell, WA
Overview: Under the general direction of the Director of Teaching and Learning Services and in consultation with the Head of Undergraduate Instruction, the Business Research and Instruction Librarian will collaborate with
colleagues within the library and across campus to contribute to the library’s in-person and online instruction and reference services, and to develop the library’s collections. As a member of a collaborative and supportive team of fourteen librarians, they
will contribute to the library’s Teaching and Learning program by
collaborating with faculty to provide course-integrated information literacy instruction across the curriculum at Cascadia College and UW Bothell. They will develop, deliver, and assess information literacy instruction utilizing learning technologies, active
learning strategies, and inclusive and culturally responsive pedagogies in support of student learning. They will liaise with the UW Bothell School of Business and faculty teaching business and economics at Cascadia College. They may also help liaise with
selected STEM fields at UW Bothell and Cascadia, such as data and/or natural sciences, yet to be determined and based on emerging unit needs.
