The listserv works like a community bulletin board. People on the listserv can email everyone on the listserv at once. Its content depends on you and all the listserv members – you are encouraged to make it your own!

Content you can expect to see on this listserv (and content we hope you share!) includes:

Food/farm news and research
Food/farm legislative updates
Food/farm events (political and fundraising events are OK)
Food and farm-related jobs
Volunteer requests
General discussion about the food system and getting connected with food work in CT
Policy alerts, petitions, and other advocacy on food system issues
Food system wins – tell us about a new project, impact report, or other success!

Listserv emails will arrive in your inbox with the subject [CFSA-Listserv].

To post to the listserv, email Alliance@CTFoodSystemAlliance.com. Be sure your subject line is clear and descriptive!
Everyone who has joined this listserv will receive your email.

When replying to a listserv email, you have two options:
- REPLY ALL if you want to send your reply to the whole group
- REPLY TO SENDER ONLY if you do not want to send your reply to the whole group.
  (Make sure Alliance@CTFoodSystemAlliance.com is NOT in the To or CC fields)

To receive fewer emails, go to your Google Group membership settings and choose "digest" (combines multiple emails into one), "abridged" (receive a summary of emails), or no email (you can still browse posts on the Google Group homepage).
