Hi everyone,

I hope you’re doing well. Our district began using MagicSchool AI last year through a small pilot, and this year more teachers and students have started using it on their own. As we move from that early exploratory phase to something more intentional and consistent, I’m hoping to learn how other districts structured their rollouts.
  • If your school has already implemented MagicSchool, I would really appreciate hearing about your experience. Specifically, I’m curious about:
  • How you moved from early adopters to a more formalized rollout.
  • Whether you offered any professional learning for staff (PD sessions, staff meetings, lunch-and-learns, self-paced modules, etc.).
  • If students were given any kind of AI literacy lesson or orientation before they were allowed to use the tool.
  • What expectations or guidelines you put in place for teachers and students.
  • Any challenges you came across and what you might do differently next time.
We want to design a rollout that feels supportive and responsible, and learning from those who have already been through this would be incredibly helpful. Any insights, resources, or examples would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much,
George
