Hi Team,

Is it possible for CrunchyData Operator to create DBs and DB users in an existing AWS Aurora cluster? We are investigating the option to use CrunchyData operator in a lightweight manner,  just to create databases and DB users, as part of the CI/CD and not managing the cluster. The AWS Aurora cluster is created and managed by Terraform script.

Please let us know your response.

Many Thanks,

Madan

Hi Madan,

The operator specifically orchestrates Kubernetes clusters, so would not be applicable to AWS Aurora or use for Postgres cluster creation outside of a Kubernetes environment.

Thanks,
Elizabeth
