Hello everybody,

Just trying to find clarification. I know PGO is available on GitHub under an Apache 2.0 license, but it doesn't seem very active and all the releases are 4.x.

Is there another repo for what is included in Crunchy Data 5.x, or are the 5.x releases subscription only and I should stick to 4.x if I wanted to be an open source purist?

Curiously,
Vince

As you point out, PGO is open source under the Apache 2.0 license. PGO development takes place in the primary branch. Crunchy Postgres for Kubernetes is the integrated product that includes PGO and the various open source components. With the latest release of Crunchy Postgres for Kubernetes (vv5.4.0), we've tried to clarify some of this further in our overview - https://access.crunchydata.com/documentation/postgres-operator/latest/overview.
