💥 A BIG announcement this week: many of you have been asking, and it's finally here! The 2021 Community Activities Fund is now open for applications! 

The countdown to the CC Global Summit is on, with lots of news this week:

• Summit volunteer applications now open for a variety of roles
• Check out the full program and don't forget to complete your registration
• We need you! We're looking for community moderators/co-panelists on the following topics. Please email me if you are interested:
• Emerging Trends in Open: cryptocurrency, AI, privacy/security
• Link Rot
• COVID & Open Science

Some other ways to get involved in our community:

• Fine Acts has just launched Artists for Climate - a global call for illustrations on climate change
• The Internet Archive is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year! They're asking folks to share a video testimonial

• Voting Works is growing their team and hiring two web engineers
• CC's legal team wants to hear from you on our new license enforcement principles
• Grant for the Web has opened their Call for Proposals
