Thursday's Data Expert Group Meeting

Hi Everyone,

I would like to add the following agenda items to Thursday’s Data EG meeting:

• Governance model for VSS and the standard catalog.  
• How do we ensure changes are vetted and work for the community and industry?
• We need to document our model.
• Common uses of VSS.  
• What are the primary contexts in which VSS is used?
• We need to provide best practices and how-tos in various contexts
• Roadmap
• We put together a target roadmap for nest 6 months

IMO - We should time box the discussions and assign action items.

Your agenda looks quite good to me. Best practices/how-to could help pre-empt the shared internal debate taking place with at least one OEM on using a heavily customized private branch (overlay) instead of trying to map to VSS.
