Kick-off Meeting - VirtIO Sub-group

Hello everyone,

I am Sumit Semwal, Senior Technical Lead at Linaro and leading the
virtIO efforts here. I have been tasked with chairing the VirtIO
sub-group within the Core Collective Virtualization group.

Since there are many areas of possible interest within the virtIO
space, we will use our first meeting to identify and agree about the
most relevant key areas for the group participants.

As an outcome of the first meeting, I am hopeful we will be able to
define the objectives, relevant key areas of focus, and potential
engineering efforts for this virtIO sub-group.

I invite you all to a collaborative, active participation to help
address our common needs with VirtIO.

The currently proposed kick-off meeting is planned for June 9th.
