Subgroup reorganization

Hi,

On 2026-06-18 we had a meeting deciding to reorganize the subgroups. You can see more details in the meeting notes in our mailing list archive.

The new setup will be only three subgroups:

• Xen (formerly virtualization, includes FF-A for now)
• QEMU/KVM (formerly simulation)
• Virtio

The FF-A and maintenance subgroup are removed as FF-A topics go into the Xen group and maintenance will be handled in a monthly cross sync for the whole Virtualization WG.

To accomodate this I will update the meeting invites with the names of the new groups and cancel FF-A and maintenance meetings.
