Josh here from SmartSocial.com.
On Tuesday I had the chance to talk with two amazing groups of superintendents, assistant superintendents, directors, and principals in the first two Town Hall sessions of 2022. Hearing the challenges our schools are facing helps us create the resources your parents and students need.
TONIGHT I get to talk with parents, teachers, and counselors about the top social media topics you want and need to know about as you directly support your students. (I guarantee you’ll get a couple of good laughs from social media examples I’ll share with you tonight!)
It’s not too late to sign up for tonight’s event: Click here to save your spot now (or keep reading for more information)!

Part of online language is emojis (those little icon images that users often use to replace words, phrases, or ideas).
Your students are likely seeing much more than the most popular emojis 😂 ❤️ 🤣 👍 😭 🙏 😘 🥰 😍 😊 in their texts and social media.
The SmartSocial.com Teen Slang, Emoji, & Hashtags Parents Need to Know (The Ultimate List) contains emojis and their “hidden” meanings that students are using to communicate with each other. We update and share this list frequently with you to help you understand what your students are saying (or trying to get by you).
Here are some of the most recently added emojis to Unicode…what “secret” meanings will they take on this year? When we see a hidden message, we’ll share it with you on the Teen Slang, Emoji, & Hashtags Parents Need to Know (The Ultimate List)!
