Numba 1.0 and 2.0 Vision

Numba is an excellent piece of software and appreciate it being open source.

Travis mentioned in an interview that numba 1.0 is intented to be released this year.

Given some use cases I was wondering about can someone weigh in on what are the big features and vision yet to be implemented for 1.0? What about 2.0?
