Python cannot find Numba in OS X

Sorry, I have a very basic question. I use OS X. I installed Numba as recommended: first I installed anaconda, and then conda install numba

Numba is installed here: /anaconda/lib/python3.6/site-packages/numba

But python cannot find numba. What should I do?

This sounds like you are not running the Anaconda installed Python.  What does:

which python

show?
