Hi,
 I have a fresh Ubuntu install: 16

I installed anaconda, and numba (using conda install numba).

So far so good. But

> conda install numbapro=0.23.1

Fetching package metadata ...........
Solving package specifications: .

UnsatisfiableError: The following specifications were found to be in conflict:
  - numbapro 0.23.1* -> accelerate 2.0.2 -> numba 0.23.1 -> llvmlite 0.8* -> enum34 -> ordereddict -> python 2.6*
  - python 3.6*
Use "conda info <package>" to see the dependencies for each package.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can someone help? Why is there a reference all the way back to python2.6?
Thank you in advance

NumbaPro is very old and never had conda packages made for Python 3.6.  You can switch to Numba, which contains all the functionality of NumbaPro now.
