conda install package visible on menu

Hi 

I have a QT application which I want to have visible after installation (conda install myapp) in the start menu on Windows, Linux, Mac.

What is the common way to have this  accompalished?

There's an example recipe of something that includes a menu entry at https://github.com/conda/conda-recipes/tree/master/console_shortcut

Note that currently we only support menu entries on Windows.  Linux and Mac are things that people have requested, but unfortunately we are very resource constrained and haven't had time to implement it.  The library doing most of the work is menuinst, https://github.com/continuumIO/menuinst - PRs are welcome if you'd like to investigate Linux and Mac support.  The general skeleton is already there, but it is pretty broken right now on Linux and Mac.
