How to know more about a package?

to conda - Public

I am confused with which "future" to choose (with pun intended):

future: 0.15.2-py35_0

futures: 3.0.3-py35_0

futures-compat: 1.0-py3_0

"conda info" does not help much. I wish we had "conda describe _apkg_" similar to what "fink describe" does.
