Black screen of Spyder IDE

My Spyder IDE looks like this. It's working, all of its functions, but screen is black. What can I do ?

Same thing is happening to me and I have still not figured it out. I went to preferences and ran it in compatibility mode with windows 7 since that's what I'm running, but it didn't fix the problem. If someone could chime in and help it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you

Open your Anaconda Prompt with admin privileges and type

conda install pyopengl
.
press enter... it will ask for your permission to install a module. Grant the permission and  wait till it's done. Now you can use spyder IDE

Hi Shota,

To change the black screen back to the white screen background colour, simply open Sypder, select tools > preferences > Appearance > and in the Syntax Highlighting Theme Box, select the Sypder Theme.
