Greetings ISCLR Members,

We are officially seeking nominations for the 2026 ISCLR prizes and volunteers to serve on prize committees!

Prizes and their deadlines, click for details:


The society gives recognition to a senior scholar who made outstanding contributions to legend scholarship through the Linda Dégh Lifetime Achievement Award, to emerging scholars through the David Buchan Student Essay Prize and to new monographs through the Brian McConnell Book Award.

  • If you have an eligible book and would like us to contact the publishing house on your behalf

  • Are seeking to nominate a senior scholar 

  • Are a student and would like to submit their paper

  • Are interested in serving on a prize committee member, space is limited in serving on the committee!
