We are officially seeking nominations for the 2026 ISCLR prizes and volunteers
to serve on prize committees!
Prizes and their deadlines, click for details:
- Linda Dégh Lifetime Achievement Award | Deadline: May 15, 2026
- David Buchan Student Essay Prize | Deadline: May 15, 2026
- Brian McConnell Book Award | Deadline: April 10, 2026
The society gives recognition to a senior scholar who made outstanding contributions to legend scholarship through the Linda Dégh Lifetime Achievement Award, to emerging scholars through the David Buchan Student Essay Prize, and to new monographs through the Brian McConnell Book Award.

- Are seeking to nominate a senior scholar
- Are a student and would like to submit their paper
- Are interested in serving on a prize committee, space is limited! Please note that final committee membership is at the appointment of the president and council.
