Subject: Inventories of Living Heritage - Call for submissions open until 27 March

Hello,

We are just past the mid-way point of our call for submissions to the first iteration of the inventory(ies) of living heritage in the UK, and already have over 450 Expressions of Interest, which make for fascinating browsing on the website!

We're asking everyone to start filling in the full submission form by the deadline of Friday 27 March. To help, there are some (fictional!) case studies on the website, we're running information sessions to talk through the form, and the Community Support Hubs are available to provide help and advice.

If you haven't submitted anything yet and are thinking about your living heritage, there's still plenty of time to start talking to your community and putting together a submission to make sure your living heritage is recognised and included in the inventories when they launch later this year. If you're not able to meet the 27 March deadline, there will be another call for submissions next year, but we're encouraging everyone to be part of the first iteration.

Otherwise, please do spread the word and tell everyone about the inventories.  We want to start a conversation about living heritage - all the different types there are and how important / valuable it is, so please do join in that conversation and tell your friends / family / colleagues / communities.

Thanks,
The Living Heritage Team

P.s. You're receiving this because you either signed up via the 2024 consultation or we've spoken at some point. If you don't want to be kept updated via emails like these, just email back and we'll remove your email address.
