NSW South Coast Group

Greetings everyone from Clem Clarke, Humanity's Team Australia Webmaster.

Your receiving this email because our World Wide Humanity's Team administration sent us the names/emails of the Australians who have signed the Global Oneness Day petition at some time.

Everyone in this group and included in the Data Base has read at least some of Neale Donald Walsch's books or articles.  Everyone here has entered their names on either the Humanity's Team Website, or similar. Neale Donald Walsch wrote in "Part of the Change" booklet:

The first step in becoming a spiritual helper is to:

1. ANNOUNCE OURSELVES TO EACH OTHER

The first thing we have to do if we are going to change the world is to let the world know that we are here. We have to tell each other about each other. We have to “announce” ourselves to each other.

One of the biggest reasons that people do not see themselves as “world-changers” is that they imagine themselves to be standing alone against overwhelming odds.

The earth is populated with people who believe that they are the only ones who think the way they do, who hold the viewpoints they hold, who want to do what they want to do. It is as if we are all living by some Silent Agreement. The Agreement is to keep our views largely to ourselves and to remain unknown to each other.

This is not an agreement that we are keeping because we want to. It is not even an agreement that we are keeping consciously. We are keeping this agreement unconsciously, without even knowing that we are doing it. We keep this agreement by “going along,” by “giving in,” by “accepting” life “as it is,” without raising a peep of serious protest.

This is an agreement that the human race is keeping by default. And we are keeping this agreement because we think we have to. We believe that it is the only way we can be happy—and maybe the only way we can survive.

Then, every once in a while, something fascinating happens. Every once in a while we chance upon a meeting, we hear of a gathering, we learn of an assembly or a conference of some kind, or we see a small write-up in the local newspaper about some group or association or non-profit organization that is focusing its attention on exactly what we have been thinking about—but about which we have said little or nothing to others.

And maybe we go to that meeting or attend that gathering, and we are startled to find that there are actually other people—perhaps many other people—organizing around just the ideas that we have been tossing around in our head. We find that someone agrees with us. This is an important moment. This is the moment that real action can begin, that real progress can be made, that real solutions can be put into place.

Therefore, we have set up a searchable data base so that we can all become visible to each other, and, with your permission, to the world.  We want change. We all want a far more beautiful world than we have at the moment.

This is the plan.  We have set up newsgroup and calendars for each major city in Australia. We have entered your names into a data base, which will be used to subscribe you to your area's Newsgroup.  You may, of course, unsubscribe at any time or change the frequency of your emails and other options by going to the group website itself (instructions will be at the end of each email from the group). And you may join the National Group to see all the discussions in Australia, should you wish.

Then, we will send out a newsletter once a month with activities that are happening,  and you are encouraged to subscribe to your local State Calendar which will have any activities and meeting that may be of interest to you.

Please let me know if you wish to be removed from our Newsletter/Membership list altogether, your details will then be removed immediately.

There are a number of reasons for setting up the newsgroup.  Primarily it was done because a number of members wanted to be able to communicate with others in their area.  Using the Search Facilities, you can search by postcode to find people near you.

Many of our Members wished to be able to communicate with each other for relevant general discussion.  So instead of just sending messages out to members, now you have the chance to respond, and get others involved.

For example, someone might ask the question "How can we get the world to recognise that we are One and work together, instead of against each other?" Then the entire group can have input to the possibilities!

Discussion Group members.

NOTE: When you reply to a Newsgroup/Discussion Group such as this one, the 3,000+ members will all receive it. And, if anyone of them replies, the entire group will see the replies.  So be careful!!!

And please don't post large emails, videos or pictures as this will congest our Member's Inboxes as well as causing problems for those with a Broadband Download limitation. Links to videos and so on are acceptable, as the recipient can then choose to look at the links themselves.

You can communicate directly with me at: admin@connectinghumanitysteam.com

Let's have a great time making a beautiful world...

Namaste

Clem Clarke
