Join us in beautiful Seattle for the National Sustainability Society (NSS) Inaugural Conference, Sept 9-12, 2024. The conference theme is Innovation, Implementation, and Workforce Development for Sustainability.
.
Why come to the NSS inaugural conference?
We are hosting leading thinkers and doers working to bring about a sustainability transformation. They are figuring out solutions to the challenges facing such a transformation. We invite you to join us to connect, network, and meet like-minded researchers, professionals, and decision makers (see some of the highlighted contributions here). The conference is a prime opportunity to network, showcase your work, projects, and products to a large audience, and meet collaborators.

How can I participate?
Contributions are welcome through May 6! We seek contributions that will inspire and catalyze new ideas, conversations, and projects!

What makes NSS distinctive?
The NSS is a new professional society devoted to connecting Sustainability professionals with academic and research experts who provide the knowledge base critical to their work. By creating an annual forum and year-round engagement opportunities, the NSS seeks to speed and scale the sustainability outcomes needed across society. The NSS also seeks to facilitate networking, capacity building, and the development of new career pathways for professionals committed to this field. We welcome you to join us in building a new professional resource committed to the success of your work.

How else can I participate?

We also invite your organization to participate in the conference as an Exhibitor. You will have your own place to display materials, engage with attendees, and publicize your efforts for sustainability. Other details and exhibitor applications can be found here.

We also invite workshop contributions! Workshops are tool or skill-based sessions, held on Monday, Sept 9th, before the conference kicks off that afternoon. You can review the workshop description here and also check out some already planned workshops here.

Registration will open on May 23rd, for both presenters and observers.
Student registration is only $150 (and $99 for Early Birds!), and all registrations include an inaugural NSS membership!
