Tenure-track position of Assistant Professor, with expertise in recreation resource management and the environment in Logan, UT, https://careers-usu.icims.com/jobs/4233/assistant-professor%2c-recreation-resource-management-%26-the-environment/job. We welcome applications from broadly trained scholars whose research integrates recreation resource management with other fields, such as: human dimensions of wildlife management, geospatial analysis, climate change adaptation and mitigation, tourism and recreation geography, diversity in nature-based recreation participation, cultural ecosystem services, environmental communication, or environmental collaboration and conflict management. This tenure-track, full-time (nine-month) position is based at the USU campus in Logan, Utah. The relative emphasis for the position is 50% research, 40% teaching, and 10% service. We particularly welcome applications from scholars whose research focuses on social, cultural, historical, or ecological issues impacting public and/or tribal lands in the Southwest United States. This full-time (nine-month) position is based at the USU campus in Moab, a thriving tourism-oriented community in southeast Utah and a federal agency hub adjacent to National Park, National Forest, BLM and Tribal lands.
