Dear all,
The International Conference on Conservation Biology (ICCB) 2025 is taking place in June, 2025 in Australia. The abstract submission is open. I would like to inform you that my proposed symposium "Operationalization of Frameworks To Integrate Formal and Experiential Knowledge For Effective Species and Ecosystem Conservation In Asia" (symposium no. 117) has been accepted and I am reaching out to people for potential contributions. The details of the conference can be found at
https://conbio.org/mini-sites/iccb-2025/. However, you will not be able to see the symposium lists unless you log in and submit an abstract. For that, I have attached the concept note with this email.
The symposium has been accepted in the 'lighting talk+ poster' category, i.e. the speaker will have to speak for one minute and then proceed to their posters. I know that it is not an ideal situation like full talks, but it could be an interesting way to innovate presentations. Regarding travel grants, I do not have grants for speakers and therefore, the speakers have to arrange their own finances. The ICCB has only competitive student grants for which the speaker has to apply for during abstract submission.
The deadline for abstract submission is 21 Feb, 2025. However, if anyone is interested, it will be great to get in contact with me in the first week of JAnuary. I have to accept or reject the symposium from my end by 9th January, 2025.
For further details, please feel free to reach out.
