To apply:
Please send a CV with the names of 3 references, a cover letter describing your interest in this project, specifying your preference for an AI-focused vs. field-based project, and a 3-4 page research proposal describing (in general) the research you could imagine conducting, including hypotheses/questions, methods, justification, and intended products to Dr. Kelly Biedenweg, Kelly.b...@oregonstate.edu. The research project does not need to be exactly what you will implement; I use this as an opportunity to learn about your writing, interests, and understanding of research. Please do not use AI to write (though you are welcome to use it to brainstorm). Based on my experience, proposals written with AI are obvious.
Application reviews will begin May 1, 2026 and accepted until filled.
