Dear Chantal,

When biodiversity flourishes, human life flourishes.

The 2020 United Nations Global Biodiversity Report notes the importance of biodiversity in addressing climate change, long-term food security, and concludes that action to protect biodiversity is essential to prevent future pandemics.

In light of these and other challenges, the United Nation's Convention on Biological Diversity will meet in Kunming, China from October 11 to 24 (also known as COP15). This meeting is a critical opportunity for the world's leaders to build a global future in harmony with nature.

People of faith have an important role to play in this process by advocating for a healthy ecosystem and ensuring our leaders commit to ambitious action at this UN meeting.

We invite you to join Cardinal Peter Turkson and Dr. Jane Goodall to discuss "The Road to COP15" on Tuesday, April 20 at 12pm Central European Time / 6am Eastern Standard Time. This webinar will be conducted in English, with translations available in Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese.

Register here today!

Peace,
