Dear Religion and Conservation Working Group
I am currently in the process of finishing a research manuscript for publication, which includes a paragraph concerning turtle conservation and catholic religious beliefs. Briefly, our research suggests that incorporating religious messaging, especially of Bible passages, may help to dissuade turtle meat consumption in a West African country, by changing normative personal and social beliefs.
Would there be any interesting and relevant literature you could recommend, related to this topic? Otherwise, if you think it more appropriate to contact someone directly, could you please provide me with a suitable contact?
Thank you in advance for your help! I hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards,
Morgan Casal Ribeiro
