Call for Nominations to Serve on the Board of the Society for Conservation Biology - Oceania Region
Nominations are due by 24 May 2024
Nominations are now open for the Society for Conservation Biology Oceania Region Board of Directors. In 2024, SCBO has two board director vacancies - a Member-at-Large + Web Officer position and a Member-at-Large – Pacific Islands position.
We also invite board members whose three-year terms have ended to renominate if they would like to serve an additional term on the board.
Successful candidates will serve a 3 year term.

Please check that you meet all of the required criteria outlined in the position description before applying. Applicants who do not meet the required criteria will not progress to the ballot.
New board members will be elected through a ballot of our members which will run in June.
Nominees must be members in good standing with the Society for Conservation Biology as well members of the Oceania Region, and must be willing to run for election before the deadline. If you nominate someone other than yourself, please do so early enough that their acceptance can be requested before the deadline.
