Subject: ESA at 50 sign on letter to Biden
Hi friends,
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Endangered Species Act, one of the most successful conservation laws ever enacted by any nation. To commemorate this milestone, we are calling on the Biden Administration to take bold action that mobilizes the entirety of the federal government to stem the loss of biodiversity and halt the global extinction crisis.
Please join the Center for Biological Diversity, Defenders of Wildlife, Endangered Species Coalition, Sierra Club, Western Watersheds Project, and WildEarth Guardians on the attached letter outlining bold, proactive steps the Biden Administration should take to strengthen the implementation of the Act and push for new, ambitious initiatives to recover endangered species and conserve our natural heritage for another 50 years and beyond.
Here is the link to sign on: https://forms.gle/sNidsNcYA8w8rKLS8. The deadline is Friday, August 25th.
Thanks!
