Hello, friends!

The upcoming 7th International Marine Conservation Congress (October 13-18 in Cape Town, South Africa) is seeking volunteers for our Scientific Programming Committee. IMCC7 is a major meeting and we need the help of the marine conservation community to be as successful as possible.

At this time, we are looking for two main categories of volunteers.

1) Abstract reviewers. We need a team of experts in marine conservation science and practice to help us to decide whether submitted abstracts are suitable for a presentation or poster at the meeting. This role is primarily intended for more experienced professionals, ideally people who have participated in at least one past IMCC or ICCB meeting.

2) Committee volunteers. We need people to help us with a variety of small tasks related to developing the IMCC scientific program, under my direction. This role is perfect for graduate students or other early career professionals who want to get their first experience with volunteer professional society and conference leadership.

Please reply directly to me with your interest in either position and a brief description of your experience levels.

Sincerely,

--
