Protecting our global oceans and the benefits they provide for nature and people requires moving science into action—which necessitates connection. The International Marine Conservation Congress (IMCC), hosted by the Society for Conservation Biology's Global Marine Program, is the premier international gathering for the marine conservation community.

The 8th IMCC will take place in Edinburgh, Scotland this November bringing together more than 800 global leaders, including scientists, policy-makers, practitioners, educators, and journalists. With over 600 abstract submissions, the IMCC program is positioned to make a splash by showcasing emerging and impactful work in the international marine community.
