I wanted to share with you all a new study of interest in the journal Oceanography and funded by the Lenfest Ocean Program. This research lays out exactly how changing ocean conditions in the northwestern Atlantic Ocean are further complicating efforts to protect the endangered North Atlantic right whale from fishing gear entanglements and ship strikes.
