Organizing a symposium or interactive session in a dynamic, international environment fosters new ideas and solutions for biodiversity conservation through cross-cultural and interdisciplinary collaborations and global dialogue.
ICCB 2025 will feature more than 140 sessions, including symposia, contributed sessions, plenary talks, and lunchtime meetings, along with numerous pre- and post-congress workshops, training courses, and forums. This is your chance to organize a session that will inspire and engage the global conservation community.

Showcase Your Expertise and Shape Global Conservation at ICCB 2025
By leading a symposium, workshop, or training course, you can highlight your expertise, foster collaboration, and make a significant impact on global conservation efforts. Your session will engage a diverse audience of conservation professionals, researchers, and policymakers, sparking critical discussions and driving solutions to conservation challenges. Your contributions will not only elevate your work but also enrich the congress experience for all participants, shaping the future of conservation biology.
New Symposia Type: Flexible Symposia
Flexible Symposia are 60- or 120-minute sessions that can be organized in any format, and provide an option for diverse ways of sharing knowledge (e.g., yarning circle, talanoa) that may be more culturally-appropriate for participants than traditional presentation formats. Unlike the predefined structures of traditional symposia (regular, speed, and extended), where organizers invite speakers to deliver timed presentations, organizers of Flexible Symposia design and implement session formats that best facilitate knowledge sharing within the session's cultural and thematic context.
